01 / THE WORKSHOP

What can we make?

Bring us the drawing or the problem. The workshop can take a job through several stages of fabrication.

Cut & profile

Plasma and oxy-fuel profiling, supported by CNC/CAD software. Certified steel plate stock includes S275, S355 and Hardox.

Press & form

Bystronic 400-tonne, 4.1-metre press brake, alongside guillotining and steel rolling facilities.

Weld & assemble

MIG and MMA welding for fabricated components, larger assemblies and demanding industrial applications.

Machine & finish

Drilling and punching in-house. Milling, turning and boring can be coordinated with Claydon Precision; galvanising and powder coating through subcontractors.

Repair plant

Repair and renovation of buckets, loaders and attachments, including cutting, plating and welding with hard-wearing steel where required.

Founded in 1997, Needham Fabrications is a privately owned Suffolk business. Its workshop handles jobs for construction, civil engineering, agriculture, transport and other industries where the detail matters.

Its relationship with Claydon Precision Machining brings fabrication and precision engineering together when a part needs both.
